New exhaust, new front brakes - WOW!

I got a new Starla catback exhaust and new front pads last week from eEuroparts. Got it all installed a few days ago adding new Brembo front rotors that I already had ($25 each on eBay). Gone is the warped braking and the deafening noise from my well used multi-cracked exhaust. I bled that exhaust for all it was worth, with a few welded patches and a pressure-fit exhaust adapter holding the rear pipe into the middle resonator. Finally the front pipe into the resonator broke off and that sealed its fate. The Saab OEM muffler was still in fine shape at over 5 years old!
The car is back to its original glory, nice and quiet, speedy and smooth stopping. This car is in near mint shape still - unbelievable. I could see it going another ten years easy. Don't you just love that real burled walnut on the dash? I bet Jag-u-ars don't even have real wood in them any more. Ford would nix that to save a dime per car, huh?!
Think Spring! It's only a week away here in Michigan. ;)
