Didn't read your other post, but if it's a turbo, then the stalling issue could be the BPV, aka "hooter valve". That tends to cause stalling at idle when it's failing. Pull the valve off and suck on the vac line...if you can such air in, the valve has failed.
Also, they tend to "hoot" when releasing pressure when failing, hence the name "hooter valve."
As for the battery, it still could be a bad battery. Dying batteries tend to do very strange things. Have it tested.
