I'd like to see the ferodo pads you're talking about... I guess I could look them up online myself for a photo...
And i of course understood that you're not grinding the friction surface of the pad, but the back of the pad to make them fit.
But, with the issue of pure surface area of a saab pad vs a bmw pad, considering the ammount of chamfer on the PFC pads, I'm personally not convinced that by using the BMW pad you gain much more... and are all BMW pads are chamfered as much as the PFC pads?
However It is true that using a BMW pad simply gives you the option of looking to another performance manufacturer of brake pads, such as ferodo as you said.
How much are those ferodo pads for a front set? where do you buy yours from?
to all those people who want a final answer on how much to grind the backs and what to use to grind ferodo pads... what do you suggest?
