Background:
A month or so ago the car suffered from a no start. Turned out to be a fauly fuel pump so the dealer replaced the entire assembly and fuel filter. The car started and ran fine..
About 5 days later when putting the car into reverse it began to vibrate but then smoothed out as the car began to drive. (This happened twice)
A couple days later the car began to vibrate while driving and threw a CEL Code
I started the car the next morning and it was running fine but the CEL was still on. I drove it to the dealer and they ran the codes
The codes were
P0108 - Manifold absolute pressure sensor
P1171 - Closed Loop Lean Mixture
The TECH reset the codes.
So the car was driving fine for another couple days and then again it began to vibrate.
So I went hunting for leaking vacuum hoses. The hose which connects to the MAF actually had a slit in it so I replaced that hose today. And the car drove perfect for over an hour but then my father took it out later on and it began to shake and vibrate on his way home from the grocery store.
So I am stumped and all this started after the fuel pump was replaced. The car never vibrated like this before. And it is intermittant..it can go a day or more without it happening and then WAM it starts. And it has not thrown another code since it did a couple weaks ago. It just shakes.
PLEASE HELP!
