Check the fuel pump operation first before you dive in...
Have the following tools ready if indeed the fuel pump doesn't turn when you jumper fuse 14 to fuse 22.
First make a fuel pump flange removal tool. You have a spare pump already. It should be easy to put together one with a few pieces of scrap wood (1 by 2's). Other than this, you need the torx driver (to remove the sheet metal trim and the felt lined plywood panel in the trunk), a flat blade screw driver (to pry apart the electrical connector on the pump), a can of wd-40, and a lot of patience.
The toughest part is removing the fuel line fittings on the pump. Both of them are snapped in place. Do that first before you loosen and remove the flange. You unhook the snap to pull up the fittings. Each fitting has two o-rings. There could be a lot of resistance. Pull the fitting up with a twisting motion. Do not bend it or you will be looking at very difficult repairs if you break the fitting. Spray some WD-40 into the fitting before you pull the fittings from the pump connections. The weather is on your side. With this warm weather the likelihood of breaking the nylon fitting is less. Still you should be careful. Good luck.
Bring a good spare DI if you haven't tried it. Or have you?
