My car is a '97 9000CS, but with upgraded springs/dampers/bushings. Front end definitely feels more solid in corners. And there is hardly any creaking from my dashboard since the install (that means I can hear my sunroof rattles better than ever).
I also couldn't get the long bolts lined up with the holes in the brackets, particularly if the two hex-cap screws located under either end of the long bar were fully tightened. And you can't reach those bolts after the brace is installed, because the brace prevents access to the top of the hex caps.
My solution was to use ordinary bolts in place of the two hex cap bolts that would be under the brace. Tightened them with an open end wrench (the bolts can be reached from the side), after the long bolts were installed.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the results.
