Thanks Burt.
My goal is not just to remove or convert the rust but to stop it in
some similar fashion to what some products claim to do.
Naval jelly, as I recall - is for removing the rust, which I have read
is only a temporary measure with old rusty steel.
If anyone has knowledge and experience with a process that either
converts and is weatherproof by forming it's own coating, or one
where it converts and then you have a few days to get it coated
even if it rains (as Picklex claims to do), that is the kind of
info I am seeking - what really works this way, from the folks
here who are always so wonderfully helpful !
Thanks,
mark
