If you are reasonably handy you could do this yourself. It takes some investigation getting together the procedure info and the useful tips from this site, but is not that bad at all. The key IMHO is to obtain alternate transport for a week while you go at it, much less stressful.
Am pretty handy with a wrench and it took me 3 days......slight roadblocks were getting that *%&$!# shift tapered pin out of the shift shaft and resetting the tranny(5 spd). Only use an OEM slave/release bearing and figure $150 in tools to augment your collection. You can make an engine support/brace with a wood 4x4 and chain and eyebolt. FYI, make sure clutch MC to slave line is updated and a pressure bleeder helps.
Let us know how it works out.
