Theres nothing really difficult about it. A 5 on a scale of 1-10. Theres just a lot to do. And I wouldn't just replace the slave, once you are in there, I would replace the entire clutch, replace the rear main seal and re-surface the flywheel. You don't want to do this job again in 6 months when the clutch starts going bad or the rear seal starts to leak.
If its an earlier tranny with no drain plug, also turn the tranny over and get all the oil out of it.
