Since my 16+ yr old car is beyond cosmetic perfection inside and out, rust, bad paint, aging rubber trim, cracked dash panel, dry leather seats, dirty drooping headliner,...on and on. You know those plastic push clips for body panels that they sell at hardware stores? The one's I used are black, but you may be able to get them in the white nylon to blend better. They are about 1 1/4 inch in diameter flush slightly convex head, with about a half to 3/4 inch serrated post that I just pushed thru the sagging fabric into the foam core in the high spot where the rear seat passengers heads would be. Four or more across the back has worked very well for me for years. If you just want a solution and don't intent to replace the whole headliner and aren't too concerned about cosmetic perfection...it's a cheap and literally minutes fix.
