91Aero - Great advice - this is actually not for the entire headliner - but for just the *sunroof* portion - HOWEVER - you kicked off one EXCELLENT idea - of which I have posted a montage in my photo gallery. Your method is a great way to fix the back of the headliner if it's whacking the back seat passengers in the head tho - kudos for that one!

Here is the process for fixing the sunroof headliner portion:

* Get together some small binder clips - the smallest ones actually work better.

* Get some 3M high-strength super 90 adhesive (barcode info is here: http://www.upcdatabase.com/item.asp?upc=0021200300233). This has a 'throttle' on the sprayer so you can turn it from a trickle to a full-blast. Rotate the spray valve left to the 'L' position

* Open the sunroof in 'tilt back' position.

* Wedge a small stick (about 1" wide) between the pressboard backing and the backside of the metal sunroof plate.

* Spray a small line of adhesive on the pressboard backing. You don't need a whole lot here.

* Working from one side - pull the material towards the back of the car and over the edge of the backing; clamping as you go towards the center.

* Stop at the center - and repeat on the other side.

* Allow the glue to dry for ~ 1/2 hour. You can clean up any overspray with denatured alcohol (paint safe).

* Remove the clamps, then the stick from the sunroof. You may want to wait a few hours for the glue to fully set before opening the 'roof while driving.

* Pop a cold one and admire your work!

The link to the montage is below, as well as the original problem

Thanks for all of the collective input!
