a while ago I was driving on my way home in my 91 9kt manual and my check engine light came on and stayed on while i was driving...and i didn't think anything of it. got home, parked the car, all seemed fine.
the next day the car will not start. i've done loads of tests, the fuel pump runs when it should, when i dump starter fluid in the intake it pops and runs for a lil bit and kills again, which means my DI must be good (swapped it anyways to make sure). this is all happening right after i changed the crank position sensor...which seems to be functioning if i'm getting spark and the tach needle bounces and reads when it runs on the starter fluid...
i've tried testing the injector wiring...but am not sure quite how...i'm pretty sure that the injectors aren't getting a pulse to open...so what could be causing this?
another thing is that the fuel injection relay buzzes pretty loud when i turn the key on...
any ideas? help would be much appreciated, it's been a while since this car has been on the road, and i *just* did the head gasket, balance & timing chains/sprockets, and CPS....
Thanks,
Dave
