There is a bypass that can be done on US cars. I don't have specific knowledge on European cars, just what I've learned from the lead Saab trainer in the US. When talking about the alarm systems, he said that the European alarm system is entirely different, and not 'bypassable.' From what he said, it will take a dealer, and a good one at that.
From the schematics I have, the European system operates differently than the US one. In the US, the alarm system interrupts the signal to the fuel pump, starter, and main relay. In the European system the alarm system 'talks' to the fuel injection system. Not so easy to bypass. Sorry.
