I am a freaking lucky guy - both of my cars went limp home within 24h.
The another car - 9000T CS '92 dropped the following codes on Tech2:
ECU:
25772 - Intermittent - Throttle position fault
the next two codes should not relate to the error, but I will have to take care of it, too (later):
(22450) - Intermittent - Lean mixture - O2 Sensor unable to correct
(22451) - Intermittent - Lean mixture, air leak
ETS:
78390 - Intermittent - Malfunction in throttle valve control
24260 - Intermittent - Speed Signal From TC/ABS Absent
33450 - Intermittent - Safety Valve Current Low
E7590 - Permanent - Safety System Activated (limp home indicator)
ABS:
33421 - Intermittent - Left Front Inlet Valve Inoperative
after resetting 07061 - Unknown
What I did until now - replaced the safety valve, control valve, APC to a new one (from the other car), but zero success. Took out the throttle body, cleaned the the butterfly and opening with carb and choke cleaner.
In the service they cleaned the codes and recalibrated the ECU. After that the car went OK for a few km, then I could not add gas, the throttle did not react (very awkward, could not move from a frequent crossing on green. So I opened the hood, found the throttle rod did not retract, so I pulled out the vacuum hose from the throttle body to release the vacuum and the rod retracted. Then I was able to start the car, but in limp home again. The mireacle lasted for 5 mins only.
Any ideas?
