Sounds like you're doing all you can. My indy just did the tensioner on my '96 when it was in for something else, and it had been on there for a long time. I know it wasn't recent when I got the car almost 4 years ago at 90K and I'm closing in on 140K.
At your mileage you should take an hour or so and really go over it and make a list, then a plan for bringing stuff up to date. Am doing that on my daughter's '95 that is in average shape but needs a bunch of small stuff.
A good 9K will run a long time if taken reasonable care of, but like any car you gotta keep on top of stuff.
