The mechanic was able to weld the broken bracket while it was still in the car, so the repair bill was cheap. However he said a bushing was worn and would have to be replaced and said the bracket would eventually have to come out for that anyway. I'm having trouble finding the bracket part number. All I see in the EPC is the clutch pedal which has bushing type things at the top. Does anyone have a part number for the bracket?
On my 900, I had a clutch pedal that was somewhat floppy at the top of its travel, like this one is, and I replaced the clutch pedal because the bushing it pivots on was worn out. Is this what th emechanic might be talking about? I'm confused. It looks like replacement of the pedal on a 9000 might be more complicated since it's connected to the master cylinder right there (I odn't remember seeing that on my old 900).
