Been there done that. I was fed up with seepage out of this O-ring. Here is what I did. Jack the car up, remove the left wheel and the forward inner wheel arch. Remove the serpentine belt and the tensioner (you need a pair of circlip pliers to remove the tensioner off the rod). Your will see a bolt that secures the steel water line. By loosening the bolt you can adjust the line to get a better fit (deeper) into the water pump where the O-ring is. I can't remember if you can pull the line out far enough away from the pump when it is installed to attach a new O-ring or not. To ensure proper seal, I coated the entire area around the water line where it enters the water pump with Black Permatex Silicon Sealant (with the O-ring installed). Let it cure overnight. Never have seen any more coolant drips. By the way, I used the same stuff on the Washer Fluid resevoir (around the attach pipes) and it works great to seal those leaks also.
