If it feels floppy, like there's no resistance, or if it doesn't return all the way to the top of its stroke, you may have a hydraulic issue still.
On the other hand, if the pedal feels relatively normal, then you may have the type of broken clutch wherein a bit of debris (like a broken damper spring) has wedged itself between the flywheel and clutch disk, so that regardless of your clutch pedal heroics the clutch is permanently engaged.
You may STILL have a broken clutch even if your hydraulics feel wacky, but at least you can spend a little time troubleshooting the hydraulics in hopes of a cheaper solution.
If a clutch replacement is necessary (I have a feeling it is) then you should be able to get the job done by someone for around $800 I would think; you can do it yourself for perhaps half that.
