It's easier with the reducer one because it'll clear the opening in the floor completely, once it's down in place.
With the full size one, you may need to reposition it as you go to keep your narrower shaved area lined up with the oval opening.
Probably not a big deal because you just need to break it loose, and then spin it by hand the rest of the way.
