So last night i accidentally put 87 grade fuel in my 9000 aero instead of 91 grade. Today i went into town and began to experience some stalling at low speeds (i could hardly get into first without mashing on the gas). This began to happen repeatedly. Half the time it would stall it was actually idling at 200 or 300 RPM's with no throttle response.
Naturally I'm pissed and begin to blame things on the fuel that i had put in the night before. After mentioning the fuel issue to a friend he recommended that i put some octane booster in and gradually put more 91 octane in (made sense to me). The car ran for a while but now with the check engine light, then the light went off after 100 miles. 50 miles later the same original problems happened again and again. Towed the car to the shop and am currently hoping my pockets are deep enough.
Anybody have a guess, Fuel Pump, Fuel filter, O2 sensor, Throttle connections, Mysterious Swedish Curse?
