I found the problem. It turns out that the vacuum hose that goes from the throttle body to the underside of the TCS Safety valve on the firewall split right at the attachment point to the throttle body. It was the part of the hose that can't be seen unless you actually remove it. Replaced the hose and all is fine! It always seems to come down to the TCS or hoses. In this case, both.
