Chances are, that chances are, that your back-up DI is questionable. I would do the plugs and the new DI before wasting time elsewhere. If it works then, throw out the suspect DI's. (Kind of like saving those pens that sometimes write fine) I just installed a new to me,(used, $75.00) from fleabay DI in my 9K CSE. Reason was that my "spare" DI was questionable...car was skipping under load but still ran with my "spare" DI. New "used" DI seems fine (3 days, 300mi.)and now I know that the one in the trunk is AOK. Sooo...if the new DI corrects the issue, buy a "good used" DI, install it and put the new one in the trunk. Don't forget to gap the plugs and use dielectric grease on the boots.
