If all you are doing is adding a K&N your gains will be minimal or imagined. You'll be poorer and the car won't go faster.
In a turbocharged engine, the turbo is already pulling in as much air as the engine can use. A less restrictive air filter isn't going to increase the airflow. The turbo may soin up slightly faster, but this is not something that translates into speed and horsepower. This is different than in a normally aspirated engine in which the engine is doing the work of pulling in the air. In that case, a low restriction filter can help deliver more air to the engine. That's why those engines get a HP boost with a K&N.
There is also evidence that K&N and other low restriction filters increase the chance of BPC failure (at about $275 a whack). BPCs fail too often anyway, so why do anything that speeds up that process?!
If you are doing a lot of mods to an engine--bigger exhaust, remapped ECU, bigger turbo, head work, and the like, a low restriction filter will be helpful, but on a stock motor it's a very small piece of the action.
Put in a new stock air filter, do a full tune up and enjoy your new ride.
