Just a follow-up. Still haven't gotten the car started. It wants to start with a little oil in the cylinders but it doesn't. I also found that if I pull the fuel pump fuse, it acts like it wants to start, but of course, it's not getting fuel. The first time I try to start it after putting in the fuse, it trys to start, but after the first cough, not much of anything.

The plugs are wet with fuel. The fuel pressure regulator is not leaking. I tried a different DI. No difference. I pulled the plugs and checked the compression with the throttle open and it was about 120 on all cylinders. The timing is good. (Checked a number of times) Oil is getting pumped up through the head.

One possibility (unlikely) could be that the shop that did the head, mixed up the cams. But, when cylinder 1 is at tdc, the next movement would open the intake valves for that cylinder, which I believe is correct.

I did have the injectors cleaned and serviced. Makes me wonder if that caused any problems.

Right now, it seems like there is too much fuel getting in the cylinders, or maybe too much for the compression that is being developed. The leakdown test I tried (not really a good one) gave me a little air from the oil filler tube. But the engine hadn't run and I attributed that to the lack of oil on the cylinder walls.

I am about at a loss and am almost ready to have it towed to the shop and let them mess with it.
