Jim,
That a tough one and I admire your persistence for taking it apart and seeing what the problem is.
One question I have is this: If you read through the TCS summary, you will see how to identify the throttle body that usually needs to be replaced to make those 1993's reliable. I believe it is identified by some numbers and the color of certain connections. (I can't remember, exactly). Can you tell us if you have that bad one? We had a great guy on the BB who was very active at one time in posting knowledgeable info on those bad throttle bodies. What was his name? Anders? All of his posts are excellent.
My problem with diagnosis was that in my case it was intermittent, which is always makes electrical diagnoses hard. Also, I was limited by not having a Tech 2 or ISAT. It's the only time I gave up and took the car to a tech. I'm glad I did because I have about 55,000 miles now without TCS woes. But it took biting the bullet and going for the new throttle body installed by the tech.
You've got a good car there if you can get over this one.
