I'm surprised you've gone that far with the old throttle body. If it was me, I'd replace it with the new one because intermittent TCS almost drove me nuts because I get too persistent thinking I can ultimately fix everything. There may be a way to get one at a bargain price but you still have the issue of having to calibrate it. I suppose if you have a way to check the number and the color of the connections you could get one from another car. Maybe you could put it in and then pay just for the calibration with someone who has a Tech 2 or Isat. Maybe it doesn't have to cost $1300.00
I assume that you have replaced the vacuum lines, bleeder valve, and cleaned all the connections?
It's a nice car and worth getting fixed.
