Ari-
Thank you so much for this walkthrough, I really appreciate it. What you do here for the Saab community is valued so much by all of us. Are you a Saab Tech or just someone who knows an incredible amount about the way these machines were built?
I do have a couple questions, though.
1 - Maybe I'm just incompetent, but which connector am I looking for underneath the seat? Last night, I saw a whole host of connectors and wires, some directly attached to the seat, some below the seat beneath the carpet, etc. How can I locate the proper connector? Is the yellow wire a giveaway? Left or right side?
2 - I've never measured OHMs before, but I have used a voltmeter many a time. How exactly do I measure the resistance between the yellow and black wires? What setting do I need the device on? How do I know if it is an open circuit?
3 - How does the side plastic part with the switches for the seat come off? Where is the ground point underneath the seat? And where can I get heat shrink tubing?
Sorry, I know that was more than a few questions. Thanks SO much for your help.
