You might just be experiencing some slight rust build-up on the rotors, that will go away with use. You haven't mentioned how long it's been going on.
I don't think the incline has anything to do with it. Sitting is sitting.
Shudder under braking can be due to imperfections in the rotors, warped rotors, or the leading edges of the brake pads catching. In this case, I'd assume it's just imperfections that will go away with use. It is somewhat possible that the calipers are sticky. Again, I'd expect the problem to resolve with a few brake applications.
If you peek through the slots in the wheels and actually see rust on the rotors, that will come off with use. I doubt you'll see much more than that. You can have some pretty nasty brake vibration due to rotor problems that you won't see just by looking. Or put it this way; other than rust, if you can see a problem with the rotor, you'll be able to feel it in the next county.
Of course, there is normal brake maintenance. The brake fluid should be flushed every 3 years. If you don't know when the last flush was, get it flushed. Check the rotor thickness - if they're too thin, they're prone to warping and fading. If the pads look low, replace them. And don't ignore the rear brakes.
And if you do the rear brakes yourself, DO NOT push the pistons back with a clamp. It is common to push the pistons back into the caliper in order to make room for the new (thicker) pads. On the rear brakes on the 9000, the piston gets retracted by removing a 15 mm bolt on the back of the caliper that covers an allen screw; turning the allen screw retracts the piston. The fronts are 'normal' - retract the pistons by pushing on them.
