how things work out on this problem. I have had cel issues since installing Jak's 3" stainless DP with race cat, on my '97 9K aero last summer. Mated it to a SD 2.5" stainless cat back. Jak told me the pipe he sold me was one he got back from a customer because of a cell issue that he had determined was due to wrong bung location for the front sensor. He had moved the front bung about 3" downstream on the pipe he sold to me. I havent replaced the front sensor yet since the car is "up" for the winter, but did replace the $250.00 rear sensor last fall to no avail. I am currently in the middle of replacing the clutch, and installing F&R SAS sway bars (since I will have the trannie out of the way). Before I put things back together, a new FRONT O2 sensor is going in. Sounds like this step may not cure the problem. I am beginning to wonder if the stainless has anything to do with this issue like lack of grounding for the O2 sensors? I also have experienced a drop in gas mileage since the DP installation. Since I had the same kind of drop in my '97 CSE when the front sensor went south, I was hoping that replacing the front sensor on the Aero would cure the issues. Time will tell, or maybe someone will come up with an awnser for both of us.
