This is like all the motor oil discussions and such... Posted by vtsnaab [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
BUT:
For those who live in areas where things get rusty or frozen and who are
vexed by breaking off bolts and nuts when trying to DIY, in the almost 30
years since I had my arm twisted into using it, NOTHING has ever done a
better job of making things easy to disassemble than Kroil.
(And no, I don't work for them or anything like that.)
I used it for the first time on 2 1/2" and 3" nuts on big high pressure
boilers that usually took at least 2 men on a 3/4" breaker bar with a
6' pipe cheater to break free - and after the spray/wait/spray again deal
I did them myself with just the ratchet and very little swearing.
I know I've posted about this before but since then new folks have come
here as new 9K owners and this is good to know for anyone who wants to
DIY on a used car, especially if they use road salt where you live.
The great thing about the first time with this stuff is that it is a
real, old-fashioned no risk deal, and once you've tried it if you truly
aren't convinced they do keep their word 100%, so I'd recommend having
a peek if you are tempted at all, here: http://kanolabs.com/
(And if frames display as poorly for you as they do for me then you can
see the Kroil page better by looking here:

Best Wishes and Happy Saabing !
