A/C compressor replacement and r-134a conversion

My compressor siezed last summer on my 1990 CD. I have read just about every post on here related to r-12 to r134a conversions as well as many other websites information. I bought a new compressor, reciever/drier, expansion valve and vacuum pump and gauges. My system is still under pressure and I am going to have a shop properly remove the old r-12. My plan is to remove old compressor, reciever/drier, and expansion valve. I am then going to flush the system using a pump sprayer and mineral spirits. Install new parts and then pull a vacuum. My question is what type of oil should I install in a converted system? Is the oil installed after pulling a vacuum? I have read different amounts and was going to put some in the compressor, some in evaporator and condensor. How much oil do I add? What is the correct procedure for adding the oil? Also when adding new refrigerant do I add it when the system is under vacuum? I know to only add to the low side.
