If you have flushed all the mineral oil out of the system, then you will need to add 5 oz. of new oil to the system. Add this before you assemble the system and pull a vacuum. The procedure is this. Before mounting the compressor, remove the drain plug on the top of the compressor and turn it upside down to drain the existing oil out of the compressor. Replace the drain plug. After you have mounted the compressor and attached the hoses add the oil. Measure out 5 oz. of either ester based lubricant or a PAO type oil and fill the compressor through the drain plug. Ester or PAO seem to work better on converted systems, rather than the PAG oil used in new R134a systems. As you are adding the oil, give the compressor a few turns to distribute the oil. (Turn the inner part of the clutch, as the outer pulley will turn freely.) Use a new O-ring on the drain plug and torque it to the specification (not more than 10-15 ft-lbs). I would not bother to put oil in the different parts of system, as the refrigerant will do that, and if you turn the compressor, you can get all 5 oz. into the compressor. Tighten all the fittings, pull a vacuum for 30-40 minutes, check for leaks after 5 minutes, then pull a vacuum for another 10 minutes. Fill with 30 oz. of R134a. The original system took 38 oz. of R-12, but you use a factor of 80% for the conversion.
