Once you get the new hose on you need to bring it to an auto AC business or mechanic and have a vacum drawn for about an hour. I assume you have the later 134a refrigerant......then you need to add the approp oil (ester or pag?) to make up for the old oil coating the removed hose and condensor....the saab manual has these amounts. Then add in the correct weight refrigerant-134a, let it run a bit with gages attached to make sure high side and low side pressures are in the correct ballpark and then you are set. BTW its always a good idea to replace the receiver drier when the system has been opened a while. Hopefully you won't have any leaks caused by dried up orings. Let us know how it comes out.
