I agree with Danah, replace the drier unit also. If the car was not converted to R134 before you replaced the condensor and you want to keep it as the original R12 be ready for some expensive freon.
If it gets converted to R134 the performance might not be as good as the old R12 if that's what you had. It'll still be cold, but maybe not like you remember. That's normal for "conversions" keeping some of the old R12 oil still in the system.
