the cruise control and the single to the computer that controls boost does not want to see an open circuit. the switches are normally closed, when the pedal gets pushed an open happens and the boost and cruise cuts out.
the switches have a male spade connector and there are two female spade wires attached. I forget if they are in a single socket or two seperate wires. If seperate wires use a fuse from your spares, it's two male spades so plug to two wires into it, it's a jumper around the switch. If it's a single connector then either use some wire forced into both contacts or fashion a jumper with two male spades on a short length of wire.
This will effectively short around the switch.
