Looking at '91 9kS B232/AT -opinions

OK, first I am familiar with Saab autoboxes, so I know the ZF v. 5 spd debate.
Looking at '91 9k S, AT, no Turbo, 177k miles. (I wanted a AT - S model).
New head 5k miles ago after head gasket failed and warped head.
Body & interior VG. Upgraded AC no longer works, cruise doesn't work, and it needs ball joints (well Right at least - I'll do the pair, I guess).
Now, engine is 232. Looks familiar (all mine are 202s), It starts up at about 1600rpm and then quickly settles to about 1000rpm (about right for AT).
There is a bit of engine vibration at 1000rpm, not body shakers, but a little. Mounts look iffy - could that do it? My other 9000 didn;t have the vibration when mounts went.
Autobox is a ZF 18. Has one glitch - at a low load acceleration it sometimes goes straight from 1st to 3rd, but not on a harder acceleration. All shifting is smooth and you can manually shift up smoothly. My experience tells me that a new A spring, new fluids and a clean valve body (or replaced valve body) should take care of this problem.
So - any thoughts about the vibration? Anything I don't know about ZF 18's screaming out at you with this 1/3 jump on low load?
Thanks and best wishes, Buck
