you can do it without removing much stuff, although I'd remove some the air intake pipe to the throttle body to make some room. Someone here is bound to have done it. Do a new post to ask or do a search.
Here's a link to Quasimotors instructions, which may not be all that useful on this job.
This is one of the things I leave to my indy because he's done enough of them to have the technique down. It may not be all that bad, but it will vary by car and your tolerance for working in a restricted space with your back bent. But once done you will probably never have to think about it again.
