Thats the trick I tried on the original calipers , but water got in and rusted the allen screw/lever so it was toast .
I bought two rebuilts , and thought I was done .
After I noticed the LR dragging , I bought two e-brake cables ,
but haven't yet put them in ..cuz I don wanna drop a gas tank .
Now wifey will send it to my indy , but I know this is a $$ labor job .

Wow , thanks for the details . Months ago, I dutifully searched for this info , and with that knowledge set the allen screw , as you just described .
When I installed the re-built calipers , I did indeed set the
allen bolt , then back off a bit . I then had my wife yank the (disconnected)
e-brake , so I could see the cable move in/out , which it did .
Tell me this then ....
IF , the adjustment at the console is "imbalanced" , and the drivers is too
short , would this pull the lever so much , an otherwise good ( rebuilt) caliper lever sticks ?
AND..a simple adjust/lengthening fixes it ?

Of course , tomorrow , I'll put er on jackstands and see myself .
If the e-brake cable was easier , I'd just put it in .
I'm in no mood to drop a gas tank .
