GeneN:
At least on the late model 9000s like my '96, the other cylinders don't seem to have the number code written anywhere; it only appears on the ignition cylinder.
I did pop the clip and rear cable pulley off my removed hatch cylinder and its innards pull out without the key. I assume a good locksmith could read the sliders and derive the key code.
I have the two front door latch handles with lock cylinders in them, out of a car. I don't see anywhere where the key number appears, though possibly removing the cylinders it might be on them.
Adam:
Yeh, to get the shifter out of Park, pop the little trap door out that's just behind the shifter shaft, and stick ANY 9000 key straight down in the opening that appears, as pictured in the owner's manual. It doesn't work as a key, just as a peg. Probably a skinny screwdriver would do as well.
