You might need the other lower mounts done as well, unless you know they're good.
Don't use poly if you don't want vibrations. IMO it's not worth it for the trans mount to be poly, it was just too much vibration on my 93.
The trans mount job is pretty easy IMO. Easier than the other lower mounts. I believe I used the Haynes manual as well as searched about it here. Definitely check out quasimotors website for a good write up.
I did all the lower mounts at once. And I had never worked on a car to any significant degree. If you have the right tools and procedure you can definitely DIY.
