Clutch wear or hydraulic related?

My clutch is starting to slip whenever I give it more than half boost in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I want to make sure it is actually disk wear and not master cylinder / hydraulics. I tried following this advice "You can check the clutch wear by looking into the access well for the clutch slave bleeder. Next to the bleeder towards the bottom is the piston for the clutch slave. Measure the distance between the end of the piston and the dust cover. New 11 mm, wear limit, 2mm."
But for the life of me, I don't understand what part needs to be measured in the attached photo I just took. Can someone please point out the area that can vary between 11 and 2mm?
FWIW, the clutch engages as it always has, with the pedal about 1/2 way out. Thanks!
