reckon they're a compromise I don't need here in the south-west of England, we haven't had much snow for years though I can always be proved wrong! I guess the F1s will be fine for 360 days a year. What are the Kumhos like in summer?

Mind you, I have to take US tyre reviews eg. Tirerack with a pinch of salt as (a) we don't have the same ranges/models on sale here and (b) the rubber compounds are sometimes different between markets anyway.

However, this is at least my third set of F1s and I've never had this noise thing before. I then found it discussed on some UK bulletin boards, so maybe it's a new "design feature" like those regularly showered on us by Microsoft.
