It seems like all my Saab shift a little slower. Just take your time when going through the gears. Allow the depressed clutch time to spin down a little when traveling through the gears. The reverse trick it to pull up on the reverse collar thats around the shifter stick. There's nothing else that compare to the 9000 model Saab. Best car I ever brought, beside my three 900 Saab's. This is also the best web site for keeping your 9000 going. "Congratulations"! One thing you can check right away is the shifter coupling between the engine and the bulkhead/engine compartment. You can see it while having someone shifting the car while it off. Te rod comes out of the car body and attaches to the transmission. The rubber coupling should more with the rod evenly, without any flexing.
