Things I'd check are Spark plug/wire connections, DI cassette, O2 sensor AND ELCD purge valve. If she's purring until she gets hot, then it's gotta be something going out of wack from heat expansion, whether metallic or plastic. If you've cleaned the IAC, I'd suspect ELCD purge valve that connects to the charcoal filter by your wiper fluid resivoir. Gotta jack the passenger front side up, remove the wheel, and then remove the wheel well liner first and you might as well put your marks on your harmonic balancer since you're in there too if you already haven't.
Granted I ain't no mechanic, I'm just a jeweler, but there's no doubt your issue appears after she gets hot.

'94 9000S 2.3L NA NonTurbo automatic (and when I can get her running she rides like the day I drove her off the lot 15 years ago).
