Control Arm Bolt hole is Stripped Out! Impossible fix??

Hello everyone.
So my rear control arm bushings were shot, I replaced them with powerflex bushings, only to find out that on the driver side I am facing a nightmare repair if it's even possible.
The rear control arm bushing brackets have two holes in them, of which bolts go through them and tighten down inside of the subframe at the rear of the control arm...
.... one of those holes on the driver side, the inside one closer to the center of the car, is completely stripped out inside the subframe where the bolt is supposed to thread into!!!!
When the bolt was removed from the stock bushing, all of the threads were still around the bolt... they peeled off the bolt in my hands. I was hoping that there would be something left for the bolt to thread into but there isn't. I've tried longer bolts but they will just spin and never catch...
Now i'm faced with nothing to hold the bolt inside the subframe.
I would just tap into another location to hold it all together but the bolt has to go through the control arm bracket to hold that too...
has anyone dealt with this?
how do you rethread the inside of the subframe when it's clearly gone up in there, and needs a wider bolt now??
I could weld it? :) I'm only half serious about that...
