First, I assume that you mean the oil supply line. The oil return line drains into the sump through a rubber hose, and is too short and too fat to fool with.
The oil supply line is quite a bit different between the 1991-1993 2.3L and the 1994-1998 2.3L engines. On the 1991, the supply line originates on the back of the block though a banjo fitting, snakes around the block and ends in a threaded adapter on the turbocharger housing. On the 1994 and later 2.3L engines, the oil line goes from the oil filter adapter (banjo fitting) to the turbo charger (banjo fitting). A braided line will require a banjo fitting on both ends for a 1994 or an adapter that can use the threaded (12mm?) hole on each end.
