87 9000T car dies 20 miles then restarts Fuel/Electric?

I have a moded 87 9000T. I live in Lake Tahoe 6500elev. I tuned the car this weekend and changed the oil, I just replaced the Turbo, plugs and re set the timming. The cars been running great. I drove down to Reno, NV yesterday it was 102 out. The car wasnt running hot I was on the freeway and the motor cut off, I pulled over waited 10 seconds and the car started and ran fine for 20 miles then did the same thing. Today 103 degrees I drove 50 miles the car ran fine. I parked got some milk and eggs. I came out the car started then sputttered I pulled over. Opened the hood and she started right up and ran fine. I watched the tach and it didnt go flat, so I'm suspecting a vapor lock or the fuel pump may have issues whe its' HOT. I went to a pick and pull today, bought a coil, distributer with a Hall senson a bunch of relays. Tomorrow I'll replace the Fuel pump relay, coil and see what happens? I dont think the 87 9000T have crank positioning sensors?

Any ideas ?
