it seems like some silicone-based grease, but you *do* need it. I imagine you can find something suitable at an autoparts store. Talk to the guys behind the counter and they can probably recommend something. You can also get new bushings and grease from SAS. It goes inside the bushing where it contacts the sway bar. Use it front and rear.
As for the links, I don't think you use much, except maybe on the top and bottom bushing. Also, you do not want to tighten the links so the bushings bulge outwards. Just get them snugged down well, but before they begin to bulge.
You will still get some understeer... this is a heavy FWD car, but the bars should make it much more neutral than the stock set-up. With Aero springs/shock and SAS bars on my '96 CSE, I find that 3-4 PSI more air in front gets it pretty neutral on a skid pad, but it will still understeer if I go into a corner too fast or turn in too much or too fast. This is normal in a road car. But, with that 3-4 psi difference the car can drift smoothly around a skid pad with steering and/or throttle control. Also ,I get great, very controllable rotation under trail braking when approaching the point where the car is loose on the road. This means the car is generally pretty neutral handling. It's a bit different on a track, but the old racer's rule of "slow in, fast out" still applies.
As for your tires, save for new ones. Lots of good choices out there.
