Bloody clutch line grommet

Hi All,
Just got done reviving my '94 Aero's clutch over the weekend. Overall, the job wasn't too bad. I sprang for a power bleeder, which made bleeding the clutch line a total snap.
The flex part of the line had developed a hole, which sprayed an amazing amount of fluid all over the engine compartment. So I took the opportunity to replace both the line and the clutch master.
The job wasn't too bad except for 2 things : 1. The weirdly contorted positions you'd have to get into to work on the bits under the dash. AND #2. The bloody awful grommet around the clutch line.
More specifically, for some reason, the electrical lead to the Airbag sensor on the driver's side fender was routed through this hole. Is it standard on a 9000 to do that? I had to cut the original grommet to get it off, and I re-used that grommet when re-installing, but I had a hell of a time with it. I just couldn't get the thing pushed in. I figure that's because there were a lot more things running through that hole than were intended. Is there some trick, some technique or tool that makes this easier?
Other than wrestling with that grommet, the job probably took 2-3 hours of me being fairly methodical and cleaning/fixing other things along the way. I also took pictures and wrote down the steps, and I'll post a write up soon.
Cheers!
Ben
