though I don't have anything very special on the car - just Aero/sports chassis suspension and wheels plus decent tyres. To be fair, the 9-5 did get round the roundabout, in its own complaining and undignified way. But I had just checked all the tyre pressures: it was wearing 215/55-16 Pirelli P6000s rather than my 205/55-16 Goodyear GS-D3s. Past experience with the P6000 is that it performs poorly once more than half worn.
My occasional roundabout "antics" are left over from when I drove a Saab 96 V4 "Jubilee" (no.101) with Spax adjustable dampers and extra negative camber on the front. Though tuned and balanced, with a Weber 28/36 DCD plus fast road cam and Brian Slark heads, it wasn't very fast but begged to be thrown sideways, true to its rally heritage. It was also tremendous in snow, which is best avoided in the Anniversary these days with those Goodyears on.
